Since January 2021, PATRIC has been participating in the solution of the “Electric bus drive with IoT system for urban and interurban transport” project.
Using the concepts of Industry 4.0, digital prototyping, Internet of Things (IoT), 5G networks and Smart City concept, the project aims to develop a traction drive with an IoT platform based on an intelligent digital twin product (electric motor).
The principal applicant of the project is EM Brno Ltd., other participants, in addition to PATRIC, are Czech Technical University in Prague and the company TechSim Engineering Ltd. The results of the project should be available at the end of 2022 according to the planned schedule.
This project is financed from the state budget by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade under the TREND Programme.
