We have successfully completed our research project “Electric bus drive project with IoT system for city and intercity transport”. The goal of the project was a digital platform for the collection and analysis of data from urban public transport vehicles in real time, typically battery electric buses, with the following use for optimizing and increasing the efficiency of the operation of electrified vehicles with a wide range of advanced functions.
This application provides a practical and effective tool for managing and monitoring the vehicle fleet, connecting to traffic dispatch and a whole range of expansion options, such as tracking the carbon footprint of vehicles, integration with vehicle charging management, incl. a whole series of evaluation criteria, prediction of vehicle ranges and intelligent optimization of the energy management of vehicle propulsion.
